Job description
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue prospects to secure new logos and expand the customer base
- Use a consultative approach to articulate the value of data and AI platforms
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers including CIOs and CTOs
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and progress in CRM systems
- Partner with marketing and product teams to create go-to-market strategies
Requirements
- 10+ years in sales or business development
- Proven track record in mid-market SaaS, data, AI, or analytics sales
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Expertise in prospecting, lead generation, and social selling
- Proficiency with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or BANT
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree
- Candidates located within the NYC or Chicago metro areas
