Job description
Responsibilities
- Identify and research high-value target accounts, specifically omnichannel brands scaling on Shopify
- Develop multi-channel outbound strategies including cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
- Map accounts and engage key decision-makers such as VPs of Operations, Ecommerce, and Supply Chain
- Own the full-cycle sales process from initial prospecting to closed-won
- Partner with Sales Engineering to conduct discovery and product demonstrations
- Build business cases and demonstrate ROI to complex buying committees across IT, Finance, and Operations
- Provide market intelligence to Product and Leadership teams to help shape the sales playbook
Requirements
- 5–10+ years in B2B SaaS sales
- Proven track record of outbound-sourced pipeline and closed revenue
- Experience selling into complex organizations with multi-threaded deals
- Strong ability to work independently and build sales processes from scratch
- Deep understanding of commerce operations and post-checkout challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling OMS, ERP, or supply chain software
- Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem
- Understanding of NetSuite, iPaaS, EDI, or middleware landscapes
- Experience in a Series A–C stage startup environment
- Existing network in ecommerce operations or retail technology
