Account Manager - Retail

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with top Retail/Non-food partners, becoming an expert in this space as we scale.
• Drive partner performance by owning portfolio growth through proactive reporting, meetings, analysis, improvement projects, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Manage marketing and promotional planning for Retail/Non-Food partners as they scale on the platform.
• Develop an ongoing, attractive value proposition for customers, including selection, promotions, pricing, and service levels.
• Work closely with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure best practices.
• Oversee the execution of site roll-outs as we scale the proposition and map gaps for partner expansion.
• Represent Deliveroo across your partners’ organisations, ensuring internal stakeholders are supporting where appropriate.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in account management, business development, or commercial roles.
• Experience within the Retail and/or Pharmacy industry is required.
• Experienced negotiator able to drive mutual value.
• Strong relationship building, organisational, and communication skills across face-to-face, video, phone, and email.
• Confident analysing data to identify performance improvements for retail partners, making clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to generate ideas and strategies for business growth with a willingness to trial at pace.
• Collaborative team player able to work effectively with all levels of the organisation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a dynamic, high-growth company is preferable.
