Job description

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth across the assigned MEA territory by achieving and exceeding annual sales targets for print and digital solutions
  • Build and manage strong relationships with academic institutions, resellers, and new prospects to expand adoption and renewals
  • Promote front-list and digital products, focusing on supporting digital transitions in Higher Education
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
  • Represent Wiley products commercially, presenting proposals and negotiating terms to close new and renewal business
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform internal teams
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and digital teams to ensure a strong customer experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
  • 3-5+ years of sales experience hitting targets and managing strategic accounts
  • Experience within the publishing or education-focused industries
  • Strong knowledge of academic institutions and the Higher Education market
  • Working knowledge of digital books, formats, and industry sales models
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to travel regularly across the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic or Russian
