Accountant

Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly cost allocation process across business lines, products, and legal entities
• Prepare and calculate shared and overhead expense distributions
• Support month-end close activities including IT, server, and subscription cost allocations
• Manage revenue accruals, cut-off procedures, and AR/AP closing activities
• Perform reconciliations and consistency checks for allocated costs and transactional data
• Review and validate primary accounting data for accuracy and completeness
• Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies within assigned areas
• Collaborate with FP&A, HR, IT, and Group Closing teams
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting, or general accounting
• Hands-on experience with month-end closing processes
• Practical understanding of cost allocation principles and accrual accounting
• Experience with AR/AP processes
• Strong MS Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as 1C or Xero
• Fluency in English and Russian (at least Upper-Intermediate)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or digital product companies
• Experience working in international or geographically distributed groups
• Experience with finance automation or system implementation
