Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, reviews and training
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as primary client contact for key accounts
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, payroll and tax compliance
  • Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
  • Perform financial analysis and deliver strategic insights to support client decision-making
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Implement and leverage accounting software and automation tools to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives to drive growth and client satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA, ACCA or CMA
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in finance roles
  • Experience leading client-facing teams
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax requirements
  • Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Zoho
  • Prior UAE or GCC experience preferred
