Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments accurately in NetSuite
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to reduce DSO
• Generate and review invoices for accuracy and contract compliance
• Support month-end close activities related to AR and deferred revenue
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for AR, billing, and subscription metrics
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Track renewals, cancellations, and adjustments in NetSuite
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and support subscription reporting automation
• Validate tax calculations on invoices and assist with monthly SST filings
• Identify opportunities for automation in AR, billing, and reporting workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in AR, billing, or business analysis roles
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong understanding of subscription billing and revenue recognition principles
• Knowledge of SST compliance and tax reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Experience with automation tools and dashboards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
