About the Company

Aduro Advisors supports top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. We are a modern, innovative fund administrator that leverages best-in-class technology to provide thoughtful and adaptable service.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero
  • Drive month-end close process and collaborate with Controllers or clients
  • Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements
  • Manage client relationships in a client-facing capacity
  • Prepare draft investor correspondence including capital contribution notices and quarterly reporting
  • Maintain investor and investment information in proprietary systems
  • Maintain legal and formation documents in Box
  • Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration
  • Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients
  • Working experience with accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks
  • Proficiency with Gsuite, Microsoft Office, Box, and Slack
  • Strong problem-solving and resourcefulness

Preferred Qualifications

  • External auditor experience
  • CPA certification
  • MBA
