Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Overseeing monthly and quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements for multiple clients, reviewing VAT returns, Corporate Tax computations, and regulatory filings, acting as the senior technical reviewer on complex accounting and tax matters, leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 5 accountants, managing key client relationships as the senior point of contact, visiting client’s offices regularly to maintain quality customer service, supporting onboarding, scoping, pricing, and profitability monitoring, ensuring compliance with UAE tax and relevant regulatory frameworks, driving process improvements, standardisation, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

10-15+ years’ experience in an accounting firm, advisory, or outsourced finance environment, proven experience managing accounting teams, strong technical knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax, ACA / ACCA (or equivalent Chartered qualification) essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting financially regulated entities is advantageous.
