Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Guide Latin American hotel clients through full accounting onboarding, including chart of accounts mapping, tax configuration, and revenue recognition setup.
• Manage country-specific e-invoicing compliance for markets such as Mexico (SAT/CFDI), Colombia (DIAN), and Chile (SII).
• Support and troubleshoot integrations between Cloudbeds and third-party accounting platforms or ERPs like QuickBooks, Xero, M3, and NetSuite.
• Translate complex hotel business processes—such as night audits and folio management—into properly configured software environments.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Latin American hospitality accounting practices and regional fiscal compliance.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience specifically within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Proven experience configuring or supporting integrations between a hotel PMS and accounting/ERP software.
• Deep knowledge of at least one Latin American country's fiscal and e-invoicing requirements.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for daily client engagement via phone and video.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data flows and integration mapping issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience in hotel operations (front office, night audit, or revenue management).
• Knowledge of fiscal compliance requirements across multiple Latin American countries.
• Proficiency with Portuguese.
• Experience using AI tools or workflow automation to improve efficiency.
