Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflow and monitor trends in denied payments and unpaid claims
• Assist AR Specialists with problematic claims and process questions
• Implement short- and long-term plans to improve revenue and denial trends
• Manage HR functions for the team, including hiring, terminations, and performance management
• Conduct team huddles and 1:1 monthly performance reviews
• Ensure adherence to departmental budgets and productivity standards
• Collaborate with Coding, Billing, and Revenue Integrity departments

Requirements

• CRCR certification (upon hire or within 9 months)
• 1-3 years of experience in medical collections, AR follow-up, or professional billing
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of revenue cycle and medical terminology
• Experience using the DDE Medicare system and payer websites
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams using AI for process improvements
