Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Complete and interpret actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling
• Prepare rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports
• Assist with the completion of rate filing documents for all states
• Maintain and update existing models, tools, and analysis files
• Interpret rate objections and prepare responses and rating support
• Interpret and apply rate regulations to rating development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics or related field
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to pass actuarial exams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL
• Experience with R
• Experience with Python
