Job description
Responsibilities
- Lead all sales efforts for print and digital advertising across magazines, websites, newsletters, social media, and special publications.
- Identify, pursue, and close new advertising and sponsorship revenue streams to drive growth.
- Leverage an existing network and book of business to generate immediate and recurring revenue.
- Build integrated sponsorship packages that combine print, digital, social, and event exposure.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and account management.
- Oversee external event and marketing vendors to ensure activities support sales and sponsorship goals.
- Maintain sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and client reporting using CRM and data-driven insights.
- Partner with editorial, creative, and production teams to ensure advertising integrations meet brand standards.
Requirements
- 5 to 7+ years of experience selling print and digital advertising, sponsorships, or integrated media.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- An existing book of business and established industry relationships.
- Strong understanding of luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, and media industries.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, sales analytics, and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Experience coordinating external vendors while maintaining a revenue-first focus.
- Deep familiarity with premium brands and high-end consumer markets.
Benefits
- Base salary: $55,000 to $60,000.
- 20 percent commission structure.
- Quarterly performance bonuses based on goal achievement.
