Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales efforts for print and digital advertising across magazines, websites, newsletters, social media, and special publications.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new advertising and sponsorship revenue streams to drive growth.
  • Leverage an existing network and book of business to generate immediate and recurring revenue.
  • Build integrated sponsorship packages that combine print, digital, social, and event exposure.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and account management.
  • Oversee external event and marketing vendors to ensure activities support sales and sponsorship goals.
  • Maintain sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and client reporting using CRM and data-driven insights.
  • Partner with editorial, creative, and production teams to ensure advertising integrations meet brand standards.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience selling print and digital advertising, sponsorships, or integrated media.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • An existing book of business and established industry relationships.
  • Strong understanding of luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, and media industries.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, sales analytics, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Experience coordinating external vendors while maintaining a revenue-first focus.
  • Deep familiarity with premium brands and high-end consumer markets.

Benefits

  • Base salary: $55,000 to $60,000.
  • 20 percent commission structure.
  • Quarterly performance bonuses based on goal achievement.
