Addiction Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive SUD care via virtual visits, including assessments, diagnosis, and medication management
• Prescribe and monitor Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as naltrexone and Suboxone
• Address concurrent mental health issues like anxiety and depression in collaboration with the clinical team
• Utilize Atlas, an AI-native EHR, to automate documentation and surface real-time guidance
• Collaborate with counselors, coaches, and product teams to optimize care delivery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in case reviews and peer reviews

Requirements

• Board-certified physician (MD or DO) in Psychiatry (with SUD experience) or Internal/Family Medicine (with Addiction Medicine subspecialty/eligibility)
• Active licensure in at least one U.S. state (OK or PA preferred)
• DEA registration and current state-controlled substance license
• Experience in telemedicine and comfort using digital platforms/EHRs
• Ability to commit to approximately 10 hours per week
• Openness to working in an AI-augmented care environment

Preferred Qualifications

• IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) participation
• Previous experience in digital health or telemedicine environments
