Admissions Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including clinical, psychological, and risk evaluations
• Determine eligibility and appropriateness for admission based on program criteria
• Meet with prospective clients and families via phone or telehealth to explain treatment options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to review cases
• Prepare and manage all intake-related documentation and assessment reports
• Provide referrals and alternative resources when the program is not clinically appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Track and report admissions metrics to improve workflows

Requirements

• Licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist) or eligible for licensure
• Clinical experience in behavioral health, substance use, or trauma
• Previous experience in clinical admissions, call center, or customer service environments
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with youth and families in residential or substance use settings
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or admissions tracking systems
