Responsibilities

  • Advise on regulatory positioning to articulate how products support commission goals
  • Guide regulatory engagement by refining communication strategies and identifying key stakeholders
  • Translate regulatory signals and emerging commission priorities into actionable product positioning
  • Leverage professional networks to open doors with state commissions, utilities, and energy policy organizations

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in a state utility commission or regulatory affairs leadership at an electric utility or IPP
  • Deep network of relationships across commissions, utilities, and energy policy organizations
  • Strong understanding of commission priorities regarding reliability, liquidity, credit exposure, and ratepayer protection
  • Experience working in markets with high renewable and storage penetration
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory experience into strategic product recommendations
