AI Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the identification and prioritization of high-potential experiments based on newest research developments
• Build and maintain a comprehensive experimentation infrastructure combining AI evals with A/B testing
• Drive high-impact product releases by translating cutting-edge research into shipped features
• Accelerate engineering adoption of AI capabilities and integrate AI tooling into internal workflows
• Establish a culture of AI expertise by identifying and disseminating high-potential research

Requirements

• Deep familiarity with the current AI landscape, including evaluations, reasoning systems, and agentic architectures
• At least 5 years of engineering experience with a track record of shipping AI products
• Exceptional programming skills and proficiency with AI-first workflows
• Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, and statistical analysis
• Working knowledge of model deployment, inference optimization, and LLM API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
• Experience working in remote, fast-paced, iterative development environments

• Research curiosity combined with product pragmatism
• Strong bias toward action and prototyping research papers
• Ability to translate complex research concepts into clear recommendations
• Comfort with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving field
