AI & Data Governance Consultant

Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive AI governance frameworks for enterprise and multinational clients.
• Advise C-suite executives on regulatory compliance, risk management, and AI best practices.
• Develop, scale, and implement governance-as-a-service offerings, risk assessment models, and ethical AI standards.
• Conduct governance audits and optimize AI systems for ethical and regulatory alignment.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and policy makers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in AI governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, or policy advisory roles (preferably enterprise/multinational experience).
• Proven ability to design and implement AI governance frameworks (GDPR, data protection, AI-specific regulations).
• Demonstrated leadership in developing risk assessment models and ethical AI standards.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML governance (model lifecycle management, algorithmic audits, bias detection, explainability).
• Experience with Fortune 500/large enterprise clients.
• Strong expertise in global data privacy, cross-border data management, and privacy-preserving technologies.
• Proficiency with enterprise risk platforms and governance technology tools.
• Understanding of embedding governance into AI architecture and product lifecycle.
• Outstanding strategic thinking, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Thought leadership in AI ethics/regulation, experience at global forums/conferences.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Law, Risk Management, Policy Studies, or related.
• Experience in Middle Eastern markets and cross-cultural environments highly preferred.
