AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and productionize multi-agent workflows on Anthropic/OpenAI APIs including orchestration, tool use, and guardrails
• Design hybrid retrieval architectures combining knowledge graphs, vector search, and ranking
• Build evaluation harnesses and observability for agent behavior, quality, latency, and cost
• Integrate LLM inference, retrieval, and reasoning services into production backends
• Work with researchers to turn neuro-symbolic prototypes into robust product features

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in backend or ML
• Production experience with Python systems
• Hands-on experience building LLM systems such as agents, tool use, RAG, or evaluation pipelines
• Real workflow experience with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs
• Solid engineering fundamentals in API design, services, testing, and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structured knowledge representations like ontologies, knowledge graphs, or SPARQL
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j
• Knowledge of vector databases and hybrid retrieval architectures
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment
• Experience with model serving (e.g., vLLM), fine-tuning, or evaluation frameworks
• Proficiency in Go and/or Scala
