AI Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish operational reliability for Companion across AKS infrastructure, AI agent workloads, monitoring systems, and deployment pipelines
• Build meaningful observability practices to understand platform behavior and operational risks
• Create sustainable operational hygiene around patching, CVE remediation, secrets rotation, and dependency management
• Strengthen platform resilience, documentation, and operational processes
• Monitor and maintain AKS infrastructure and support Azure services
• Investigate incidents and troubleshoot production issues
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and logging patterns using Azure Log Analytics and Application Insights
• Partner with security and engineering stakeholders to maintain compliance-aware practices in a HIPAA-regulated environment

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Kubernetes operations experience
• Experience supporting cloud-native infrastructure in Azure environments (AKS)
• Demonstrated strength in monitoring, observability, and incident response
• SRE mindset with experience handling on-call responsibilities and post-incident analysis
• Ability to operate in fast-moving environments with evolving processes
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling (GitHub Actions, Kaniko, cosign)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Azure automation)
• Exposure to HIPAA, SOC2, or other compliance-aware environments
• Experience supporting AI or LLM-backed applications in production
