AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy advanced large language models (LLMs) to solve complex real-world challenges, automating manual processes across various industries such as healthcare, government, and energy.
• Build scalable data pipelines and optimize ML models for performance and accuracy, ensuring readiness for production and monitoring their ongoing value.
• Engage in projects that modernize government workflows, enhance energy production systems, and improve healthcare systems, directly impacting individuals, businesses, and society.
• Collaborate with government officials and domain experts worldwide to deliver novel AI solutions, working alongside experienced founders, AI researchers, and engineers.
• Take on multifaceted responsibilities that span software engineering, product management, client engagement, and teamwork.
• Stay current with new developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence, participate in code reviews, and champion high-quality engineering best practices.

Requirements

• BSc, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field
• Experience of end-to-end development of GenAI-driven applications
• Familiarity with large language model architectures
• Hands-on implementation in frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax, or TensorFlow
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
• Strong ability to adapt in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• Ownership mentality to drive projects end-to-end

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on projects involving agents, reasoning models, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Exposure to direct customer or stakeholder engagement
• Background in government or highly regulated environments
• Experience in scaling ML models for real-world production
