About the Company

Axmed is a mission-driven company working to improve healthcare equity by removing access barriers for patients and caregivers in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). We use a unique demand-aggregation model to ensure critical medicines are affordable and accessible regardless of geography or income.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end experience for autonomous agents across the procurement workflow
• Design the human review layer, including context, approval, rejection, and correction interfaces
• Collaborate with AI Engineers to determine when agents should act autonomously versus pausing for human intervention
• Design for trust and transparency, ensuring users understand agent actions and how to override them
• Translate complex procurement workflows into structured flows for both agents and humans
• Prototype fast and iterate based on real-world production failures and user feedback

Requirements

• Strong product design fundamentals with the ability to structure real-world workflows
• Experience designing for trust, transparency, and human oversight of automated systems
• Ability to design synthesized decision interfaces rather than raw data dumps
• Experience designing AI-powered or agentic products that run autonomously
• Proven track record of working directly with engineers from early stages
• Experience testing and iterating on live products based on real usage
• Must have the legal right to work in your current country (no visa sponsorship provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic workflows and autonomous production systems
• A builder's mindset with a focus on rapid prototyping and shipping
• Comfort working in ambiguous, small-team environments
