AI Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions that integrate AI to solve real-world problems, automating complex manual processes in government and industry.
• Utilize modern web frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud computing to create scalable applications.
• Interact directly with customer stakeholders, applying AI solutions in collaboration with ex-founders, officials, AI researchers, and engineers.
• Build scalable data pipelines, integrate sensor networks, optimize performance, and prepare systems for production.
• Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and drive high-quality engineering practices.
• Monitor and maintain deployed applications to ensure continued value to clients across various governments.

Requirements

• Eager to travel globally for 6+ months and work directly with SMEs and end-users.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in software development, customer collaboration, and spec development.
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with React, Typescript, RESTful APIs, and database management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative team player able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Committed to owning problems end-to-end and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with client-facing or on-site engineering roles (Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, etc.).
• Knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages.
• Strong foundation in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
