AI Product Engineer

About the Company

SweedPos is a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. Our enterprise-grade platform combines POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management into a single, seamless solution, helping retailers navigate a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from task breakdown to production deployment
• Design and build server-side logic including REST and RPC APIs, services, and integrations
• Implement clean and fast user interfaces
• Set up CI/CD, containerization, and feature-level infrastructure
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and task decomposition

Requirements

• 3–6 years of commercial experience in backend or fullstack development
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express / NestJS) or .NET
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL
• Confident with React and TypeScript
• Proficient with Docker, Docker Compose, and basic CI/CD (GitLab CI)
• Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Active use of AI agents in development (Cursor, Claude, Codex, etc.)
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and agentic workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with unit, integration, and e2e testing
• Experience in startups or small teams with broad ownership
• Experience coordinating changes with adjacent teams in cross-functional environments
