AI Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products — from discovery through deployment and optimisation
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to define, prioritise, and deliver high-impact features
• Translate business problems into AI use cases, then into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Drive continuous iteration based on user feedback, model performance, and business KPIs
• Act as the single point of truth for AI product vision, scope, and roadmap
• Ensure ethical AI design, fairness, and explainability are embedded in product development
• Evangelise AI capabilities to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, with a focus on data or AI-driven products
• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML solutions into production environments
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts: LLMs, RAG pipelines, recommendation systems, or NLP workflows
• Familiarity with MLOps workflows, model lifecycle management, and data infrastructure
• Able to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable technical requirements
• Skilled in agile delivery, backlog prioritisation, and stakeholder alignment
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable engaging execs, data scientists, and engineers alike
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
