AI Scientist

Responsibilities

• Create AI algorithms to reduce misdiagnosis in radiology and improve patient care
• Investigate, develop, and evaluate new AI methods for radiology reports and images
• Drive innovation and publications and represent the company at scientific conferences
• Collaborate with data science, clinical, and engineering teams to build the clinical research roadmap
• Participate in interview panels and cross-company projects

Requirements

• PhD or MS in computer science, math, physics, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience after MS, or a PhD with a strong AI publication record
• Strong deep learning background with familiarity in NLP and/or CV techniques
• Applied programming experience in Python and PyTorch
• Experience conducting independent research
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to medical imaging applications of AI
• Experience training at scale with multi-GPU setups and large data volumes
• Knowledge of model/data parallelism, model sharding, and mixed-precision training
• Contributions to research communities or journals such as NIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR, or MICCAI
