Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs on multilingual audio projects using proprietary software
  • Curate high-quality audio data ensuring clear spoken output and accurate linguistic and prosodic details
  • Collaborate with technical staff to improve AI speech modulation, accent variation, and multilingual audio processing
  • Improve annotation tools for efficient audio workflows

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Chinese with exposure to diverse accents and dialects
  • English proficiency (minimum B2) with clear, natural vocal delivery
  • Strong auditory perception for speech nuances, accents, and audio quality
  • Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and varying quality
  • Comfort providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in linguistics, speech sciences, or cognitive science
  • Experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, or AI training data
  • Professional voice work experience such as voice acting, podcasting, or audio production
  • Portfolio of voice samples or annotated transcripts demonstrating quality and methodology
