Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs on multilingual audio projects using proprietary software
  • Support delivery of high-quality curated audio data with accurate linguistic and prosodic details
  • Collaborate with technical staff to improve AI handling of speech modulation, accent variation, and real-world noise
  • Improve annotation tools and workflows for efficient audio processing

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in French with exposure to diverse accents and dialects
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2) with clear vocal delivery suitable for recording
  • Strong auditory perception for speech nuances, accents, and audio quality
  • Proven ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and varying quality
  • Comfort providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples
  • Strong comprehension and independent judgment on ambiguous or noisy audio material

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced transcription and annotation experience with disfluencies, accents, and prosodic features
  • Background in linguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or related field
  • Experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, or AI training data
  • Professional voice work, voice acting, podcasting, or audio production experience
  • Portfolio of voice samples, annotated transcripts, or audio-related work

Benefits

  • US-based pay rate of $35–$45 per hour depending on qualifications and location
