Job description

Responsibilities

  • Label and annotate multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary software
  • Curate high-quality audio data with accurate linguistic and prosodic details
  • Collaborate with technical staff to improve AI speech modulation, accent variation, and multilingual audio processing
  • Improve annotation tools and workflows for audio projects

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Tagalog with exposure to regional accents and dialects
  • English proficiency (minimum B2) with clear vocal delivery
  • Strong auditory perception for speech nuances, accents, and audio quality
  • Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and varying quality
  • Comfort providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment on ambiguous or noisy audio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, or cognitive science
  • Experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, or AI training data
  • Professional voice work experience such as voice acting, podcasting, or audio production
  • Advanced transcription skills including disfluencies, prosodic features, and accent handling
  • Portfolio of voice samples or annotated transcripts
