We’re rethinking how group insurance and benefits are underwritten, delivered, used and measured by bringing plan design, payroll, and benefits data into a single, AI-native workspace. Backed by Y Combinator and Core Innovation Capital, we build AI agents that extract and structure plan data to help the 178 million Americans who depend on this system.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-native workflows and architect scalable multi-agent systems with evaluation metrics, monitoring, and cost controls
• Design and own backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power AI workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Client teams to translate workflows into technical solutions
• Refine existing architecture and reduce operational complexity as the platform scales

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and building complex web applications
• Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js and Python
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM systems using frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
• Experience building and operating multi-agent AI systems in production
• Experience designing RAG or persistent memory systems using vector databases
• Experience building production-grade evaluation and monitoring pipelines for AI systems
• Experience building document ingestion pipelines and structured extraction workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, MySQL at scale, and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services
