Job description
Responsibilities
- Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation
- Teach in English using interactive and problem-solving based methods
- Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies
- Help students build systematic approaches to number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry
- Support students in developing confidence and effective test-taking strategies
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields preferred
- Strong math foundation
- Familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts
- Available to work during weekday evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in math competitions or relevant competition teaching/tutoring experience
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin
