Job description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation
  • Teach in English using interactive and problem-solving based methods
  • Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies
  • Help students build systematic approaches to number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry
  • Support students in developing confidence and effective test-taking strategies
  • Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields preferred
  • Strong math foundation
  • Familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts
  • Available to work during weekday evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in math competitions or relevant competition teaching/tutoring experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin
