AML Data Architect Senior, Principal

Responsibilities

• Develop the foundation of a robust enterprise architecture and modern data platforms
• Drive strategic data programs, including the definition and implementation of a data and analytics strategy
• Operationalize programs for Data Platform Governance, Data Quality, Data Security, and usage standards
• Align enterprise data platform architecture with business and technology strategy
• Define conceptual data platform architecture diagrams for complex initiatives
• Implement data platform architecture principles and patterns using Enterprise Architecture frameworks
• Lead the selection and implementation of data platforms to optimize enterprise data infrastructure
• Define Modern Data Architecture leveraging public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Mentor architects and technical leaders on modern data architecture practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 12 years of related experience
• Experience with Data Management, Big Data, Data Modeling, and Data Governance
• Experience with Data Integration, ETL, Metadata Management, and Data Security
• Background in designing secure, governed, and cost-efficient cloud data platforms
• Experience in the financial industry or compatible domain
• Expertise as a Data Architect with BSA/AML tools, preferably Actimize
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Matillion, Talend, Power BI, and ThoughtSpot
• Experience supporting regulated workloads (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, OCC, etc.)
• Strong SQL knowledge and performance optimization skills
