Analyst, Business Controller

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central financial coordinator for product launches, ensuring financial integrity, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with finance stakeholders, business leads, and cross-functional teams to evaluate new trade strategies and coordinate implementation across accounting, tax, treasury, and operations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the business, navigating the Finance organization to reduce friction in product launches.
• Produce high-quality documentation of fund flows, key financial risks, and accounting treatment decisions.
• Scope, design, and implement financial controls to address key risks and ensure operating effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external vendors and IT partners to automate manual processes and build scalable workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership.
• Direct exposure to crypto exchanges, fintech, or financial services product operations.
• CPA certification (or currently in progress).
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally across accounting, tax, legal, treasury, and operations teams.
• Demonstrated experience scoping and implementing financial controls and documenting fund flows.
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to drive workflow efficiency and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Strong foundation in technical accounting.
