Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the semantic data layer, centralizing business rules for the entire company
• Govern data quality and standardization, organizing data for easy accessibility before it reaches analysts
• Interface with stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient dimensional models
• Implement AI tools to optimize development, documentation, and data processing
• Maintain and evolve orchestration, unit testing, and versioning processes using engineering best practices

Requirements

• Advanced SQL for complex transformations and query optimization
• Solid experience in dimensional data modeling and analytical environments
• Practical knowledge of Python, orchestration systems (Airflow or Dagster), and Git
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) and table optimization
• Data Warehouse or Data Lakehouse architecture experience with focus on cost and performance optimization
• Familiarity with using Generative AI in the workflow
• Experience with unit tests and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with A/B testing infrastructure
• Product vision and ability to bridge technical and business analysis
