Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, analytics-ready data models primarily in dbt
• Transform complex healthcare and pharmacy benefits data into trusted datasets
• Implement automated data quality checks, testing frameworks, and reconciliation processes
• Partner with data engineering, clinical, and product teams to deliver reliable data products
• Establish documentation standards, lineage, and engineering guardrails
• Contribute to engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and code reviews
• Build data foundations to enable future AI-assisted and self-service analytics

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or data warehousing
• Strong expertise with dbt and modern analytics engineering best practices
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with Python for data transformations
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and semantic modeling
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
• Experience orchestrating data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow or Dagster
• Familiarity with software engineering practices including Git and CI/CD
• Experience or interest in leveraging AI-enabled development workflows
