Application Engineer, KSA/UAE (Middle East)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers and external partners to identify opportunities and define project requirements
• Conduct site evaluations, process integrations, techno-economic simulations, and feasibility studies to maximize customer value
• Develop customized system configurations tailored to unique client needs for zero-carbon heat solutions
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Energy Markets teams on product analyses and market studies
• Provide technical expertise during customer presentations and meetings
• Stay informed on industry trends, technological innovations, and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Basic proficiency in Python or Visual Basic
• Customer-facing technical experience with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct toward highest priorities
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer or investor meetings
• Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi with valid work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise developing energy system dispatch and analysis tools in Python
• Experience in an Applications Engineering role
• Experience with industrial heat processes
• Knowledge of energy market economic principles
• Background working in an EPC or engineering firm
