Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales, Business Users, Institutional and Retail customers regarding application, API, and network connectivity
• Identify and resolve production incidents with end-to-end ownership
• Manage release activities, participate in audit reviews, and execute BCP exercises
• Monitor and automate application and infrastructure alerts to maintain system stability
• Implement process optimization and automation of manual tasks

Requirements

• 2+ years of production support experience, preferably in Banking or Financial Services
• Proficiency with UNIX commands, SQL, and Bash/Python scripting
• Mandatory experience supporting FIX protocol and APIs
• Strong understanding of Linux/Java based systems and exposure to Cloud/DevOps utilities
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, or Dynatrace
• Experience supporting Trading Systems (OMS/EMS) in Equities, Derivatives, FX, or Crypto domains
• Ability to work under high pressure and open to shift work/weekends
