Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build performant, well-tested Python/FastAPI services that power AI-driven features and automations
• Architect multi-step AI agent pipelines using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom orchestration layers
• Integrate LLM providers including OpenAI and Anthropic, managing prompt engineering, context strategies, and cost optimization
• Connect and orchestrate external generative media tools like Arcads, Seedance, and Runway into automated pipelines
• Implement AI-native automations across the organization for content creation, data enrichment, and internal tooling
• Collaborate with the Platform team to deploy and operate services on AWS, managing observability and cost governance

Requirements

• 5+ years of production Python experience with strong knowledge of FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Proven experience building LLM-powered applications, including prompt engineering and structured output parsing
• Hands-on experience designing agentic systems with state management, tool schemas, and fallback logic
• Experience integrating third-party APIs at scale, ideally including generative media or creative AI tools
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical solutions through stakeholder collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to video, image, or audio generation APIs such as Runway or Seedance
• Experience implementing human-in-the-loop AI quality assurance or approval workflows
• Background working in fast-paced, product-led scale-up environments
