Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to introduce prospective B2B clients to new corporate publication opportunities
  • Deliver engaging sales pitches, qualify prospects, and generate interest in new publication launches
  • Schedule qualified appointments for Sales Guardians to ensure accurate calendars and smooth handoffs
  • Consistently meet or exceed outbound calling and appointment-setting goals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of prospect interactions, appointments, and sales activity

Requirements

  • Experience with high-volume B2B outbound cold calling
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to qualify prospects and identify high-quality opportunities
  • Experience using CRM and sales tools such as HubSpot or Outreach
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools like Calendly and Google Calendar
  • Familiarity with Slack and Google Workspace
  • 1+ years of experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience connecting with local business owners or SMB decision-makers
  • Familiarity with media, advertising, print, digital, or local sponsorship sales
  • Experience supporting sales teams by providing qualified leads
