Armenian Remote Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate over-the-phone and video remote interpretation between Armenian and English
• Facilitate communication in healthcare and medical settings with complete message fidelity
• Adhere to professional interpreter code of conduct and industry standards
• Take detailed notes during calls and maintain strict confidentiality
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue relevant certifications
• Report to team leadership and comply with dress code for video interpreting

Requirements

• Native fluency in Armenian and professional fluency in English
• 1+ years of telephone interpretation experience with a recognized interpretation company
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology; legal terminology knowledge is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• High emotional intelligence and demonstrated cultural sensitivity
• Strong listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• International healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Additional language pairs or specialized industry expertise
