Asset and Inventory Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a long-term Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) to optimize lifecycle costs, depreciation, and maintenance.
• Define strategic objectives and stakeholder requirements while ensuring alignment with regulatory and environmental factors.
• Own and maintain the company’s Asset Management System (AMS), ensuring all equipment records, specifications, and locations are accurate.
• Oversee the full equipment lifecycle, including acquisition, allocation, utilization, and disposal.
• Develop tools to monitor and report key performance indicators such as OEE, downtime, reliability, and utilization.
• Design and implement effective inventory control systems to balance supply with demand and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure system integrity.
• Standardize workflows for asset data capture and validation within ERP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Formal certification in asset management (e.g., IAM or equivalent).
• 5+ years of proven experience in asset and inventory management.
• Experience managing technical or field equipment (seismic, geophysical, or energy sector experience preferred).
• Strong experience developing strategic asset management plans and governing asset management systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
