Assistant Clinical Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Supports clinical data review and case preparation under supervision to ensure accurate interpretation of genetic findings
• Learns to apply guided workflows for phenotype-genotype correlation and review of clinical features
• Assists with variant classification by gathering evidence and performing preliminary literature searches
• Prepares documentation and updates internal databases
• Participates in team discussions and training sessions to build competency in clinical analysis
• May abstract clinical information from patient records
• Meets or exceeds productivity and error standards

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited genetic counseling program, or a Master's/PhD in Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field
• MD/DO with demonstrated expertise in human genetics
• Board-eligible status or active certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (for Genetic Counselors)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and internal systems
• Strong mathematical reasoning and computer literacy
• Required licensure in the state where the employee works, if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior clinical or laboratory experience
• Prior experience with variant curation
• Foundational knowledge about Clinical Analysis
