Assistant Vice President, Life & Retirement Pricing

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and actuarial support for new Life and Retirement products
• Oversee preliminary pricing analyses and final pricing recommendations
• Lead the Life and Retirement rate-setting process, including financial analysis and executive presentations
• Serve as the Illustration Actuary for Life products, providing oversight for systems and methodologies
• Oversee actuarial support for system development, product implementations, and conversions
• Collaborate with valuation teams on assumption development and experience studies
• Mentor and develop actuarial talent while influencing strategic business decisions

Requirements

• FSA or ASA designation
• Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience in Life Insurance and/or Retirement
• Demonstrated experience in product pricing, development, and actuarial modeling
• Strong understanding of actuarial valuation, profitability analysis, and financial projections
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving as an Illustration Actuary
• Experience supporting actuarial systems or product implementations
• Experience leading product innovation and strategic growth initiatives
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring actuarial professionals
