Associate Analyst MENA

Responsibilities

• Conduct desk-based open source research and produce political, security, and geopolitical risk assessments
• Cultivate and develop human sources in relevant markets
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and briefings to clients and other audiences
• Provide responsive customer service and develop positive working relationships with clients and prospects
• Maintain resources including human intelligence sources, subcontractors, data feeds, and open source networks
• Mentor or manage other analysts or researchers

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in security analysis, political risk research, or crisis risk management
• Sound analytical knowledge of political and security developments in the MENA region
• Experience in client relationship management and customer service
• Ability to make analytical judgements based on evidence and reason

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of regional languages is desirable
