Associate Clinical Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical data analysis and case management to interpret genetic findings
• Establish phenotype-genotype correlations across diverse genetic disorders
• Investigate and interpret clinical features of genetic conditions using professional tools
• Review and finalize genetic test reports and curate internal databases
• Serve as a subject matter expert for designated genes, disorders, and workflows
• Communicate with clients via email or phone to support case resolution
• Perform literature reviews and database searches to support variant classification
• Document evidence and rationale for variant classification in a standardized format
• Fulfill Clinical Consultant responsibilities including report oversight and result authorization if ABMGG certified

Requirements

• PhD in Biology, Genetics, or related field
• MD or DO with more than 2 years of relevant clinical diagnostics experience (including fellowship)
• ABMGG certification in at least one specialty or board eligibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with variant curation
