Associate, Data Analytics

Responsibilities

• Own insights generation and follow-up for a major business unit
• Analyze data to support business teams in making data-driven decisions
• Package and present findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to non-technical colleagues
• Enhance essential operational and analytical dashboards based on evolving user needs
• Identify opportunities to create models and tools to identify and remove healthcare inefficiencies
• Collaborate across the organization to monitor initiative impact and achieve improvements

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing reports
• 3+ years experience working with large datasets and distilling insights
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to Director+ leadership
• 3+ years experience in SQL (filtering, aggregating, CTEs) or proficiency in R or Python (Pandas, statistical tests)
• 3+ years experience developing dashboards with Looker or other BI tools
• 3+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel (VLookup, nested if statements)
• 1+ years experience in healthcare, consulting, finance, or insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in healthcare analytics and reporting
• 2+ years experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization
• Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, or population health
