Associate Director, Clinical Business Operations Management

Responsibilities

• Support identification and prioritization of deliverables across clinical departments including Medical Writing, Biostatistics, and Drug Safety
• Organize cross-functional teams and track progress against goals and timelines
• Support business planning including budget review, resource forecasting, and goals review
• Collect and analyze business data to track delivery against corporate and department goals
• Serve as a thought partner for vision and goal setting to drive functional business planning
• Identify opportunities to leverage synergies, eliminate redundancies, and drive operational excellence
• Collaborate with the PMO team to align on priorities, processes, and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science, learning science, or a relevant healthcare discipline
• Minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience in business and project management within a drug development organization
• Strong proficiency in strategic planning and business process management
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and execute change management and communication strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA
• Experience in clinical development or operations
• Experience in Quality functions and processes
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking, or Agile methodology
