Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic and compliant sourcing for Site Technical Services, Engineering, Technical Development, and Manufacturing
  • Oversee end-to-end outsourcing processes including RFP coordination, cost negotiations, and supplier rationalization
  • Manage business case generation and selection justification for technically and commercially viable solutions
  • Identify opportunities for supplier base consolidation and standardization to support manufacturing continuity
  • Negotiate optimal terms, pricing, and SLAs with external manufacturing and analytical laboratory partners
  • Lead procurement strategy for engineering, construction services, automation, and capital equipment
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance to execute key controls and protect company interests through third-party agreements
  • Develop performance benchmarks and KPI reporting for senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • At least 10 years of procurement or relevant business experience in Manufacturing, Technical Site Services, or Engineering
  • Proven track record of negotiating complex third-party transactions
  • Strong understanding of supplier cost structures and market competitiveness
  • Proficiency in sourcing and procurement principles across MRO and Manufacturing categories
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately twice a quarter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or Finance
  • Deep industry knowledge of biotechnology buy-side and sell-side dynamics
  • Experience with modern sourcing and procurement systems
