Associate Director, Insurance Product Innovation & Emerging Solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of product and innovation strategies across the individual market and new solution spaces
• Translate enterprise priorities into scalable product strategies, value propositions, and expansion roadmaps
• Identify and scale new growth opportunities, including lifestyle-oriented products and population-specific solutions
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and business case development through launch and optimization
• Design and execute member incentive platforms, including rewards and engagement programs
• Partner with actuarial, finance, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure product viability and adherence to requirements
• Influence strategic decisions and lead complex programs across a matrixed organization without direct authority
• Provide leadership and coaching for direct reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience in health insurance, product strategy, ACA marketplace, or small group product fields
• Experience leading teams without direct authority and building processes to improve speed to market
• Experience managing product lifecycle execution, including design and launch
• Experience working effectively in a matrixed environment
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree
• Experience with ACA marketplace, Small Group products, and EHB requirements
• Experience with member engagement platforms, incentives, or rewards programs
• Exposure to QHP product filing efforts (e.g., PBT, SBC, SOB, and SERFF)
• Experience working with external vendors and cross-collaborative hybrid partners
