Job description
Responsibilities
- Own the development and evolution of the employer-subsidized product strategy, including target segments and market expansion roadmaps.
- Lead business case development for new products, including ROI assessments to drive membership growth and profitability.
- Identify and assess new growth opportunities across employer-sponsored, individual, and adjacent product spaces.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategies into scalable, fileable product designs that align with benefit standards.
- Serve as a primary connector between actuarial, network, compliance, and corporate strategy teams to drive alignment and execution.
- Establish key performance measurements including growth, retention, margin, and market competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or commercial product strategy.
- Experience working within the ACA marketplace, including individual or small group markets.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex programs.
- Knowledge of insurance product lifecycle management, including design and execution readiness.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree.
- Direct experience with ICHRA, employer-sponsored insurance, or non-traditional health insurance products.
- Exposure to regulatory filings (e.g., PBT, SBC, SOB) and compliance processes.
- Proven track record of developing or scaling new health insurance products or market expansions.
- Familiarity with network strategy, pricing dynamics, and actuarial partnerships.
