Associate Director, Insurance Product

Responsibilities

• Own the development and evolution of the employer-subsidized product strategy, including target segments and market expansion roadmaps.
• Lead business case development for new products, including ROI assessments to drive membership growth and profitability.
• Identify and assess new growth opportunities across employer-sponsored, individual, and adjacent product spaces.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategies into scalable, fileable product designs that align with benefit standards.
• Serve as a primary connector between actuarial, network, compliance, and corporate strategy teams to drive alignment and execution.
• Establish key performance measurements including growth, retention, margin, and market competitiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or commercial product strategy.
• Experience working within the ACA marketplace, including individual or small group markets.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex programs.
• Knowledge of insurance product lifecycle management, including design and execution readiness.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree.
• Direct experience with ICHRA, employer-sponsored insurance, or non-traditional health insurance products.
• Exposure to regulatory filings (e.g., PBT, SBC, SOB) and compliance processes.
• Proven track record of developing or scaling new health insurance products or market expansions.
• Familiarity with network strategy, pricing dynamics, and actuarial partnerships.
